This project centred on designing a modern, multi-level townhouse in the heart of Wanaka. A relaxed, lock-and-leave holiday home tailored for effortless family living. The clients envisioned a space that was both stylish and comfortable, blending their own treasured family heirlooms with a contemporary, understated design. The brief called for a warm and welcoming atmosphere, enriched with texture and depth, while making the most of natural light, mountain views, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The goal was to create a sophisticated yet down-to-earth retreat, practical for family use, effortlessly romantic, and deeply connected to its alpine surroundings.

With the client based overseas, we led the entire design and installation process from start to finish; curating, designing, and project managing every detail of the interior fit-out. The existing home provided a clean slate, allowing us to build the interior environment from the ground up. Through detailed consultations, we gained a clear understanding of the client’s vision, weaving together their personal heirlooms with a modern, understated aesthetic.
