Interior Design Administration Assistant
Location: The Workroom, Wanaka type: Full timeIf you are passionate about interior design, have attention to detail and a flair for custom projects, enjoy managing the quote and design process for curtains, blinds, and shutters, this role offers a unique opportunity to bring creativity and functionality together. Join our workroom team and be part of creating inspiring spaces for our clients!
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing interior design projects from start to finish
- Coordinate the design and installation process for curtains, blinds, shutters, and custom interior jobs
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage project timelines and schedules to ensure timely completion
- Assist in selecting and ordering materials, furniture, and accessories for projects
- Provide support in budgeting and financial tracking for projects
- Assist in space planning and layout design
- Collaborate with interior designers and team members to achieve project goals
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the job
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Knowledge of interior design concepts and trends
- Experience with curtains, blinds, shutters, and custom interior jobs
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Proficiency in working with numbers and budgets
- Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
