Shipping & Delivery

At The Workroom, we aim to deliver your orders quickly and efficiently. Please see our shipping options and delivery timeframes below.


Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of your order.

  • For large or oversized items, we will contact you directly to confirm the shipping cost before dispatch.


New Zealand

  • Expected delivery: 1–3 working days

  • For rural or South Island addresses, please allow an extra day


Australia

  • International Courier: 4–6 working days

  • Express Courier: 1–3 working days

  • For rural addresses, please allow an extra day


International

  • Expected delivery: 6–18 working days (varies by location)

  • Please note international orders may be subject to customs clearance, which could cause delays.

  • Any customs duties, taxes, or quarantine charges are the responsibility of the recipient.


Order Processing

  • Orders placed on weekdays before 10am NZT are processed immediately and may dispatch the same day (overnight delivery in New Zealand only).

  • Orders placed after 10am may not be dispatched for overnight delivery.

  • Orders placed after 10am on Fridays or over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.

  • If there are delays due to product availability, we will notify you the same day.


Delivery Details

  • Deliveries occur Monday to Friday.

  • Once your order is with the courier, you will receive a tracking number via email.

  • All parcels are sent with “Authority to Leave”, meaning the courier will leave your package in a safe location if no one is home.


Important for International Orders

  • Shipments may be delayed due to customs clearance.

  • Additional customs duties, taxes, or quarantine fees are the recipient’s responsibility.

  • Goods are insured up to $1,000, but fragile items (glassware, mirrors, ceramics) are not covered by insurance.


Tracking & Returns

  • Track your parcel regularly for delivery updates.

  • If a parcel is returned to New Zealand due to unsuccessful delivery attempts and no follow-up, reshipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. Refunds cannot be issued for returned parcels.

  • If your order hasn’t arrived within two weeks, contact us immediately, and we will follow up with the courier.
