The fabrication of “Savon de Marseille” is thought to have started around 1230 in a small workshop in Marseille, South of France. Le Serail is 1 of the few traditional Marseille soap manufacturers still in activity in Marseille, using the authentic manufacturing process.
Marseille soap is extra pure, 72% olive oil Hand made by Le Serail.
The soaps are weighted at the end of the production process; at that time the soap contains a lot of olive oil, water and salt; then the soap will dry out for over 2 or 3 weeks.

Shipping Costs: Based on item size/weight. Shipping is calculated at checkout. We’ll contact you for larger items to confirm shipping costs.
New Zealand: 1-3 working days (extra day for rural/South Island).
Australia: 4-6 working days (Courier) or 1-3 working days (Express).
International: 6-18 working days, depending on location.
Orders placed before 10am NZT are processed same-day (Mon-Fri). Tracking details provided upon dispatch. All parcels have "Authority to Leave."
For international orders, customs may cause delays, and additional duties/taxes are the buyer's responsibility. If your parcel is returned due to missed delivery attempts, reshipping costs apply.
